Breastfeeding Class This class is open to parents interested in breastfeeding and is taught by our own certified lactation consultant. Both first –time and experienced parents are welcome. The class meets from 7-9 p.m. in the GCH small dining room. Reservations are not required. For more information, call (419) 468-0910. The American Red Cross will conduct a Blood Drive at Galion Community Hospital from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria Small Dining Room. If you are at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in overall good health, you are an eligible blood donor. YOU could save someone’s life. Free Blood Pressure Checks Sponsored by the GCH Auxiliary, free blood pressure screens are available in the Medical Staff Library the second and fourth Wednesdays except for major holidays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Please use the Medical Records entrance off Lot D.

GCH Stroke Support Group Meets at 1:30 p.m. in the Lobby Conference Room. Our Stroke Support Group is dedicated to the health and well-being of those who have experienced a stroke and the loved ones who care for them. Pre-registration is not required and refreshments will be served. Our facilities are handicapped accessible. The meetings will be held the SECOND THURSDAY of each month at 1:30 p.m.

Advance Directives Clinic Galion Community Hospital Social Services staff will be available to answer questions and assist with completion of a Living Will declaration and/or Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care from 9-11 a.m. in the Small Dining Room at GCH.
