The Galion Community Hospital Registration Department handles all patient registration, whether it is pre-registration or registration at the time service is actually provided. The department also collects initial patient deposits. Services will not be refused for non-payment.

Staffed around the clock, Registration answers all incoming calls.

One of the main goals of the Registration Department is to be accommodating to the needs of our patients, while assuring that all patient information gathered is accurate.

Patients are encouraged to call with any questions, or for information on pre-registration. It is helpful to have any insurance cards/information handy.

SERVICES:

• Pre-registration, registration and obtains necessary signatures for billing
• Answers switchboard
• Greets patients and escorts them to their clinical department when needed
  
• Initiates collection of patient liability
  
• Utilizes Patient Eligibility System
